Smilex started in the year 2000, in a small 500 sq.ft office in Deccan. In the year 2008, we merged the practice into a company; with time we ventured into multiple business like small chain of dental centers, diagnostic centers and CDE education programs; with time came experience and clarity of goal of the company. Today Smilex is India’s leading dental implant and aligner provider, centre of dental excellence.
Dr. Vijay Deshmukh, MDS has graduated in 1989 and Postgraduate in 1992 from Nagpur University. He is a winner of 6 awards in dentistry, had been in private practice since 1992 along with it he was teaching in various universities in India. He has done thousands of dental implants and trained thousands of dentists in India. He has been a pioneering implantologist, who has delivered guest lectures at national and international conferences. He was chairman of ICDRO world congress in 2011,2012 and 2013. As an entrepreneur, he had built many companies like ICDRO, Axennic pharmaceuticals, smilexoralcare Pvt Ltd. For his contribution he had been awarded “Dr. Ratan memorial awards for outstanding dentist in India,’’ and Healthcare Icon by Times of India.
